MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER
3.x SETUP INFORMATION

GETTING STARTED 
 

Step 1: Starting the setup 

* If you have already installed Internet Explorer 3.x skip to Step 2 *
     
  1. Double click on msie301m95.exe file, (your file may be named differently)
  2. Microsoft Internet Explorer will ask you if you accept the License Agreement. Click on Yes if you accept the License Agreement.
  3. Microsoft Internet Explorer Setup will now ask you if you want to select the internet components to be installed. Click on No. It will then bring up a window telling you the components it is installing.
  4. The setup will then tell you that your computer must be restarted before changes take effect. Click on Yes to restart computer. Microsoft Internet Explorer Setup is now complete. 
The next stage is to configure the Internet Explorer. 

 

Step 2: Configure Microsoft Internet Explorer for use with OzEmail 

     
  1. To start Microsoft Internet Explorer click on Start, Programs and Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on View, Options and then Connection. The following screen will appear as shown in

  1. Ensure there is no check next to "Connect through a proxy server."
  
      
  1. Click on the Navigation tab. Enter the details you see in figure 2 and click on the Apply button to accept these settings.

  1. Now click on the OK button to finish setting up Internet Explorer.
